• In the case of typeA and B permits, the work permit is issued by the governor competent for the seat or place of residence of the entity delegating work to the foreigner;
• in the case of type C permit, the work permit is issued by the governor competent for the seat of the entity to which the foreigner is posted;
• in the case of a type D permit, the work permit is issued by the governor competent for the seat or place of residence of the entity to which the service is provided, and if the entity has its seat or place of residence abroad – for the main place of work of the foreigner in the territory of the Republic of Poland;
• in the case of a type E permit, the work permit is issued by the governor competent for the main place of work performed by the foreigner on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

Modes of application and handling:

• e-work permit (ZC).
  • You will submit the application and its attachments through thepraca.gov.plsystem , which allows you to settle the matter without leaving home and having to send in paper documents. It is the fastest, most convenient and cheapest way to submit an application, as well as to complete the documentation for a previously submitted application (lower cost of printing/copying the documentation required for each submitted application).
• registry (traditional)mode – application submitted on paper through the postal operator. It may take longer to process the case than the following modes: e-approvals, where the process of completing and submitting documents is simplified. It should also be borne in mind that due to the entry into force on 29.07.2022, the Regulation of the Minister of Family and Social Policy of July 18, 2022 on work permits and declarations of entrustment of work to foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1558), in the case of submission of several applications of one employer, each application must be accompanied by a set of documents.
