What fees do I have to pay?
Your application for a work permit must be accompanied by a fee in the following amount:
- PLN 50 – in case of employment of a foreigner for less than 3 months;
- PLN 100 – in case of employing a foreigner for a period longer than 3 months;
- PLN 200 – in case of employment of a foreigner delegated to the territory of Poland for the purpose of carrying out export service (applies to work permit type D).
When you apply for the extension of the work permit, you must make a payment of half of the amount specified above, respectively.

Proof of payment should include:
- Full name of the Employer,
- Information that it is a fee for a work permit for the name of the foreigner.
THE APPLICATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
Exceptions in which you can apply for a refund of the fee are:
- making more payments relating to the foreigner than the number of applications received by the Office,
- the application has not been received by the Office.
The application/request for fee refund must be accompanied by:
- in case of making an erroneous payment, in each case a confirmation of execution of the refundable transfer;
- in case of making a duplicate payment, confirmation of execution of the correct payment and the incorrect(duplicate) payment;
- authorization, in case of acting as an attorney in the case;
- the reference number of the labor authorization proceedings to which the case relates.
