Implementation of tasks under the Law of January 6, 2005 on national and ethnic minorities and regional language, including:

• conducting matters related to coordinating in the voivodship the activities of government administration bodies implementing tasks in favor of minorities,
• taking measures to respect the rights of minorities and to prevent violations of these rights and discrimination against persons belonging to minorities,
• taking measures to solve the problems of minorities and to respect the rights of speakers of regional language,
• interacting with local self-government bodies and social organizations, especially with minority organizations,
• giving an opinion on programs for minorities, as well as the preservation and development of the regional language.
