Issuance of acknowledgments of receipt of notifications from churches or other religious associations on the establishment, change of name, seat, boundaries or merger, division and abolition of a church legal entity, as well as the appointment and dismissal of the person holding the position of the body of the legal entity
In accordance with Articles 13(4) and 14 of the Law of May 17, 1989 on the Relationship of the State to the Catholic Church in the Republic of Poland, the governor should receive notifications from church authorities about:
- changes concerning the name and seat of the ecclesiastical legal entity and changes in its boundaries,
- merger, division and abolition of the church legal entity,
- appointment and dismissal of the person holding the function of the body of the legal person.
